Text message terms

1. About This Program
Sales Point 360 ("we," "us," or "our") operates a text messaging program that sends SMS to two groups of people: the staff and owners of businesses that use our platform, and the customers of those businesses who have asked to hear from them.
Messages are sent from our toll-free number +1 (866) 290-7360, operated by Sales Point 360, and from short codes or local numbers operated on our behalf. Every message identifies Sales Point 360 or the business you transacted with.
These SMS Terms supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By opting in, you agree to all three.
2. Message Types
Depending on the consent you give, you may receive:
- One-time passcodes — verification codes confirming your identity at sign-in or during a sensitive action.
- Account notifications — password changes, subscription renewals, billing notices, and other changes to your account.
- Order and delivery updates — order confirmations, ready-for-pickup and out-for-delivery notices, delays, and completed-delivery alerts.
- Appointment reminders — booking confirmations, reminders before an appointment, and changes to a scheduled time.
- Security alerts — sign-ins from unrecognized devices, account lockouts, and other time-sensitive security events.
- Customer care — two-way replies to a support question you have raised.
- Promotional offers — discounts, loyalty rewards, and product news, sent only where you have given separate consent for marketing messages.
Consent to service messages is never treated as consent to marketing messages. The two are collected separately and can be withdrawn separately.
3. How You Opt In
We only text people who have asked us to. Consent is collected through a checkbox you select, or an explicit confirmation you give, at these points:
- Account registration at salespoint360.com/register — an optional consent checkbox beside the mobile number field, not selected by default.
- Online store checkout — separate checkboxes for order updates and for promotional offers, shown once you enter a mobile number. Consent to order updates is never taken as consent to promotional messages, and the promotional checkbox is never selected for you.
- Appointment booking — an optional reminder checkbox, not selected by default, shown once you enter a mobile number.
- In person at the register — a staff member asks, and you confirm on the customer-facing display before your number is enrolled.
- By replying to a message with a confirmation keyword such as
YESorSTART.
Consent is never a condition of purchase, and you can use every part of our platform without receiving a single text.
We keep a record of each opt-in — the number, the date and time, the source, and the exact disclosure shown — so that consent can be evidenced if it is ever questioned.
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies with your activity. Service messages are sent in response to something you have done — placing an order, booking an appointment, signing in — so their frequency follows your own usage. Most recipients receive between 1 and 10 messages per month. Promotional messages, where consented to, are limited to no more than 6 per month.
5. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Sales Point 360 does not charge for the messages themselves, but your mobile carrier may charge you for sending and receiving them according to your plan. Contact your carrier for details of your plan's charges.
6. How to Opt Out
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving further messages. We also honour STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages after that.
To stop only promotional messages while continuing to receive order, appointment, and security messages, reply STOP to a promotional message, or update your preferences with the business you transact with.
To opt back in at any time, reply START or opt in again at any of the points listed in section 3.

8. Carriers and Delivery
Our messaging program is supported by all major carriers in the United States and Canada, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and their affiliates and resellers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed, and you should not rely on SMS as the only means of receiving urgent information.
9. Your Privacy
Mobile numbers and SMS consent are collected for the purposes described above and nothing else. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party outside of the messaging providers who deliver the messages on our behalf.
Messages sent by Sales Point 360 itself are delivered by Twilio Inc. Businesses using our platform choose their own delivery provider, so messages you receive from a business may instead be delivered by Vonage, Sinch, ClickSend, Plivo, Bandwidth or Telnyx. Whichever it is, that provider receives your mobile number and the message content solely in order to deliver it, and is contractually prohibited from using that data for any purpose of its own. Our full data practices are described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Businesses Using Our Platform
Sales Point 360 is a multi-tenant platform. When a business uses our platform to message its own customers, that business is responsible for obtaining valid consent from those customers before any message is sent, and for the content of the messages it sends. We provide the consent capture, opt-out handling, and record-keeping tools required to do this, and we suppress any number that has opted out across every business on the platform.
Businesses that send messages without valid consent, or that send content prohibited by carrier rules — including messages relating to cannabis, illegal substances, firearms, hate speech, or high-risk financial offers — are in breach of our Terms of Service and may have messaging disabled without notice.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Where a change materially affects the messages you receive, we will tell you before it takes effect.
